Apparently. I think that the scriptwriter was the genius behind that particular film, but Branaugh did a fair job of communicating the story effectively through the change in media.

Which "another Shakespeare film he did" are we talking about? Love's Labour's Lost? Hamlet? Much Ado About Nothing? Eh, they were all subpar, as interpretations of Shakespeare tend to be. As for Henry V, I don't know, something about it just works.
