D-Day: Omaha Beach! [Quenched]

Well I don't really know what to think right now. Haven't been any protests for 20 days, that's a bit past the 2 days Andy set. Although we also don't have a quench it crew. Maybe quench it crews are necessary.

still you have old mistake,name 21 panzer division is mistake,try to find some other german unit who fight in omaha beach.
21 panzer division is fight for caen.

"Rommel believed that the invasion needed to be stopped on the beaches, von Rundstedt, along with Heinz Guderian disagreed. I dont understand,you show me something what i know,that 21 panzer division fight in british landing zone,and these is far away of Omaha Beach,do you want to say that you dont care who unit and where these unit fight,if you want i can give you all names of unit who fight in omaha beach,ofcourse if you want to yours map be a litle acurate then now.

Mibi in developmental rule topic,you must give logical reason why you dont want to change some things, and i belive that changes names is most easy work in maps,belive me i also have problems in mine Eastern front map with names,because all names must be acurate. These only must be apply with maps who present some real things like yours map D-Day,OMAHA BEACH. You present historical event,and you must care to everything be acurate,and map will be more better with real names.
I will give you list of all mistake in yours names on map later.

i have already done the research and couldnt find a suitable name for a german division at that beach that i havent already used. so i used the 'next best thing', another german division that was at normandy that provided support.

The planes aren't representative of actual planes and are named what they are to help identify what they do. We weren't going for a history lesson we were just trying to make a map we both wanted to play.

qwert can you provide a link that shows that those divisions were present at Omaha beach for the allied invasion. The 916th and 352nd infantry are the only german divisions on the beach that day that i know of.

the 914 was at Point-du-Hoc.
the 915 and fusilier 352 was southeast of Bayeux.
and i couldnt find anything about the feld-eratz battalion.

so please provide some evidence that these groups were on omaha beach, other wise it seems you are just picking names from a hat, which i am perfectly capable of doing myself.

your the one pushing for the absolute historical accuracy of this map, so dont be so sloppy with your facts.

1.352 Infantry Division hold defence in OMAHA beach

2. These unit is part of 352 Infantry Division
914. Grenadier Regiment
915. Grenadier Regiment
916.Grenadier Regiment
352.Panzerjäger Abteilung
352. Artillerie Regiment
352. Fusilier Battalion
Feld-Ersatz Battalion

So it will be more acurate to put 1 of these unit, insted 21 panzer division,who never been in omaha beach. The 916th is not a division.

Those units were part of the 352nd infantry but they were not present at omaha beach, as there were else where for allied invasion, so it is still inaccurate.

then you can split germans in two part,and in these way will be 100% acurate.
