I wonder if some of the people here have ever actuallt rolled a die. I suggest you go out and buy a pack.
You've done that, great!
Now think of a number that you want to roll, and roll the dice.
Did your number come up? If it did, well done.
If it didn't, take the dice back to the shop. You've purchased a set of "hacked" dice. The storekeeper was trying to con you. It's part of a wide ranging conspiracy that began in proffessional crap shooting circles, and expanded with the mafia's control of Vegas in the 60's and 70's.
I never roll 7's, even though that's the only thing that can beat a defender's 6. We are the victims here.
hahhahaha, I'm afraid all of you took me too seriously. This post was meant as a total joke to counteract all of the "dice are hacked" threads in which they proclaim how the dice hate them. I decided to put out a thread showing that the dice do good, too, and that people should stop complaining about how the dice are bad and remember that often times they get great rolls too.
I just wonder if any of the people that post these have ever played an actual game of risk because if you have this happens many times. I have lost 10 on one before it just happens.
It's amazing to me how many people don't even consider the odds of a heads up attack in Risk.
The odds always favour the defender, always. That doesn't mean the defender will always win a 35-35 battle, but more often will.
Why, oh why is it then, that I have people ranting at me every other game that the dice are hacked. Usually this is from players who expect to win 5-5 attacks, 3-3 attacks. When I poke just a little at this theory, they direct me to threads such as these.
I flipped a coin the other day, it didn't come up heads.
I think reality is rigged.
