Geoster...a VERY special little "LIAR" at CC!

Original note: Apparently this little guy is suffering from cancer and in a real battle for his life. He's a tough little guy and he's real good at this game. Maybe all you people out there could send him a little message of hope and give him some of your love.

I think I read he was interested in making a certain map. Maybe all you wizards at map making can pull together to make it happen!

Don't give up little dude, we all want you to be around to play many more games with you.

Nah. Come on. It's pretty funny. He pulled your leg for four days though. But you asked him, got fooled, but he didn't play it out. It's pretty funny, no sense in going after him due to a joke. Be a bigger man than that mate. Funny indeed... :D

I'm somewhat amazed that this elicited a few posts where people wished him all the best, but not a single sceptical one. I know, everyone hated kramsey by the time he posted his wannabe self-mutilation pics, but the best he got was "see a psychologist you fucking attention-whore". And yet, not a single sceptical post in this thread until geoster admitted to having fooled disk.

Fellow CCers, you might never cease to surprise me.

I doubted it all along, but who's going to say that in case it's actually true? PLus this isn't flame wars. :roll:

Also, I don't think it's funny at all, having lost several close people to the horrible disease. Feel free to leave negative feedback on this (mentally) sick kid.

It's not quite true. Fircoal said this: "I wish him good luck, if it is true, it is amazing."

Personally, I would not have believed it had he just said it...but it was the picture of the sad little boy with no hair and the Shriners clown that said to me..."it must be true." Nobody in their right mind would put up a picture like that if it weren't true.

How many other people has this punk scammed? I wonder if he's asked people for money too.

Hmm... I found it funny because this guy saw the pic, had to ask and got the answer he got. I don't think the guy sought attention, did he? Just answering a question with a lie, then correcting it a few days later. Perhaps not the most tasteful joke ever, but I see the humor there, pulling someone's leg.

As far as being sceptic. I saw the thread thinking that it may or may not be true. But if it would have been true, I wouldn't wanna be that guy who flamed him. And I can imagine many more thinking the exact same thing.

He probably didn't expect a thread in a public forum to start about it... it was just an offhand comment. Disk's actions confuse me more than what geo said.
