Well, if LSU is doing it it's not related to votes, and most likely not random. Could be related with the number of times he coughed on them though. Either way that role is insane

NO it's not number of coughs, if it was Exile would be dead with 3, or if it was 2 WIcked would be dead, and Aimless too.

No Fir, I was more thinking he has to cough twice on people for it to work. Unfortunately he coughed twice on the 2 first so we can't know for sure.

Maybe, but it makes more sense that the more he coughs on a person, the higher chance they get ill

Here's another thought.

The first time LSU coughed on Mandy was on July 30, 13:02. Mandy's death scene showed up today at 13:23. That's almost exactly 48 hours later, and the twenty minute difference may be explained by the fact that it must have taken Aimless some time to write the whole scene.

Could there be a 48 hours incubation period?

It's probably too far fetched, but I thought I'd bring it up.

Anyway, I think we can't afford to let LSU live now, regardless of what side he's on. I'll wait a bit for other people to chime in before I denounce him, but frankly, letting him live is mass suicide.

It's more likely that LSU had nothing to do with this and day scum are trying to frame him.

LSU's gone til past the lynch deadline, so there's no rush in discussing possibilites. Those that are pushing this hard (fircola, Kose) are looking mighty scummy right now.

I don't think it is sensible to speed denounce LSU this day whilst he is away but instead wait for when he is back to see if he has any explanation. However, I'm pretty confident that there is some kind of link between the deaths and him even if he isn't even aware of the link.

IF LSU is an uncontrollable day vig, all he has to do is not say a name until we know who to lynch tomorrow, then test it out by having him cough that name a bunch.

Geez, you take everything I say as a scumtell.

The evidence of a link between LSU's coughing and people falling over dead is so obvious that I think it's suspicious you are defending him so ardently. Are the two of you on the same team or is your love of experienced players so great that you want to keep them alive at all costs?

You really think it's more likely that scum gets not one but TWO daytime kills AND an ability to frame an innocent? I think the plague theory is a lot more sensible.

How would scum have been able to knowingly infect Mandy and Neutrino? Thess are the 1480s we're talking about. Not exactly an era of deliberate biological warfare.

right Kose, it's TOO obvious, which is why I want to explore all the possibilites. the fact that two are dead does throw a wrinkle in things though. it wouldn't be too far fetched to have a power role with a penalty for using it.

So, Wucket, I have not denounced LSU yet and against my better judgement, I'll refrain from it for now. But if more people he coughed on are dropping dead, I will denounce him, unless you have come up with credible conspiracy suspects.

If you look up the plague on Wikipedia, you'll see that it came to Europe in the 1340s, killing about half to two thirds of the population. It returned every generation, though not always as deadly as the first wave. I could not, however, find evidence of the plague around the 1480s.

I'm not so sure about this situation with LSU. If he is a plaguebearer, then maybe he needs to die... There is no way of telling whether those kills were random. (Yes, I read the bit earlier on regarding the times he coughed, but it wasn't conclusive.)

Mmh in any case I'm all for letting LSU live till day 2, till he can explain his role a bit more. There's more chances he's a day vig or scum are trying to frame him than him being an obvious SK. When you're back don't be eager to talk LSU

The 48h delay theory is not bad, but I don't buy it. An element for it though, is that Aimless' scene insisted on the fact we still hadn't lynched anyone... Grah, in any case this role does make sense as a way to reduce town's advantage as we're all panicky about it

I'm willing to give LSU one more day, but the plague was a very contagious disease with a habit of horribly spiraling out of control. We may find that tomorrow, we have to kill more people than just LSU to control it.

And if it is indeed a scum conspiracy, well, then it's the most powerful one I have seen so far...

the 48 hour thing is ludicrous, as there were two deaths. tomorrow lsu should be talking, just not saying names! I say we let him live until we know exactly what's going on.
