If you really want to know, then the short answer is because Wales isn't a proper country (the very idea!) - it's a principality of England. But don't tell any Welshman I said that.

(Or go here for a less facetious, but longer, answer.)

So basically, this is why:

No. That's just because, within the British Isles, only the English and the Welsh are daft enough to play such a silly sport.

Exactly, since Americans don't have mounties, say 'eh' at the end of every sentence, or still bow to a monarchy are all reasons why Canada is so much better the the US. Not that I'm stereotyping or anything... Oh yeah, not as snooty either...

Bowing to monarchy is good. Better than bowing to Bush. Monarchy are better than you and I. Especially our Queen.

What a hypocritical statement. Your being arrogant, not being nice, and have the intellect of a child. And just because you say your not, does not mean your not steriotyping. The people you described make up a minority in the USA (I think it's a bit bigger there though.), which can be found in every culture. Hell, your living proof.

Also, we haven't bowed down to monarchy for more than a hundred years. We bow down to an someone called Stephen Harper who's almost as bad as Bush.

Wow someone can't understand sarcasm. Go to school for a few more years mate then maybe you will understand. Also at what point did I say you had bowed down to monarchy? Read more carefully before you make a fool of yourself next time.

You're not hypocritical then.

That's not quite right. God save the queen etc. only kind of fell off in the 1970s.

I only know one person even paying attention to Stephan. The notion of bowing to him can't possibly be referring to a real life Canadian.

Canadians generally don't care much for politics.

Fork over our tax money, complain a little about what ever corruptions are covered in the news papers and get on with life.

I'm not Canadian I'm Russian, so I have a unbiased opinion. I think Canada is better then US in several aspects: education system, health care system (which is free), government system. It's true they don't have a best economy in the world but there are several factors to consider: natural resources and it's COLD.

Good. I was concerned about what evilpurplemonkey and 2dimes were saying, so I was checking to make sure that you people still know your places.
