I'm not a religious type but they are all going to say 'no'.

I give you the following quote:

"I refuse to prove that I exist, for proof denies faith and without faith I am nothing"
God (apparently)

no, he dosen't even need us.

ditto,
he CREATED us, if he needed us there wouldnt be us, because he came before us.

Does that make sense?

I'll let you play, Kurgan, don't be disappointed if the older kids win, though. We've had debates that have gone far over 1500 posts before they dropped off the first page of the board. Note that they weren't finished, people just stopped debating.

It'll never be finished.

You'd get bored too if there was nothing else in the universe. No planets, stars, nor lifeforms. Just darkness.

Plus, aren't you happy that you exist? If you say no then you should've already killed yourself. If you are alive that means you are happy to be alive. muhuahuahuahuahuahu

"Logic Dictates..." never dies, it just reappears as a new thread. Proof, if it were needed, of reincarnation!

So, you're trying to suggest that god Created man, makes him suffer, and judges him his reaction to this devine torment . . .because he was lonely

God is indeed a bastard.

In my honest opinion, arguing about religion on the internet is like competing in the special olympics......win or lose, you're still a retard.

God's will, God's design - ergo, God's design flaws, god's fault.

I personally do not believe in a humanised version of a creator......end of.

The Catholics don't think so. They believe the Protestants are going to Hell because :

1. They believe the Protestants are traitors.
2. Protestants don't confess.
3. Protestants don't listen to the Pope.

Not exactly true.

The catholic hierarchy think that all other christian faiths are not true faiths (including the orthadox religion for some silly reason), but i'm sure most of the flock don't really give a shit.

Ignorance toward pain, suffering, and torture. I think I could live without it.

Pain, suffering and torture - yes.
But ignorance to true happiness as well.
