Not that I care too much about the stats, but I notice a lot of people arguing about it, and its true that the win% really depends on what type of games you play and how many players you play against in them. My idea is pretty simple, add an "opponent per game" stat. If you play only 6 player games for example your 'opg' would be 6, only 2 player games: 2, someone who plays all different games might have an average 'opg' around 4. This can be taken a step further if you multiply the win percentage by the 'opg'. This is only a suggestion, hence the suggestion forum, and all terms here within are purely a suggestion and patents are not pending. If you get my drift I believe this may help a little for people comparing stats.
Well misterman, maybe the second step is going too far, I would concede that much. Perhaps, the 'opponent per game' stat could be kept seperate from win%. I really think it would be a nice addition to the statistics.
That does sound like a good idea but I also agree with misterman
I really enjoy 1 V 1 matches because you have to rely on more skill than what other people are doing, its a much better representation of how good you are
I enjoy 1v1 as well, mostly because I am having more and more success at them all the time. Maybe another way to go about it would be to keep the stats as they are, AND add a 1v1 win % as well. My overall win % is 40%, but my 1v1 % is 55%. Perhaps this is another way to expand feedback on how your playing without having to do all the math yourself hehehe.
