Clan online colours/colors

* When i'm online i want to know if other Dragoons are on, and im sure for most of your, to see if your clan is on would be a nice feature. So maybe Clan leaders can choose a "clan colour" to appear in the forum "online" list... so perhaps Dragoons could be in Bold red? maybe...not really an essential but a nice feature to consider with the "friends list" n all.

Priority 1-5

*1.2 (if that).

1 question though : does this mean dragoons see dragoons in red , and for other clans and members they r regular black or will we have a rainbow on the online list?

and what if one person is a member of more than 1 clan? I'm in two, and I know several people who are in 3 or more.

I am very sure that this is possible to do currently. On the free forum that i once hosted, all i had to do was go to the administrator panel, go to the left, scroll down, and go to "Rank Colors" or something. It let you add different things on the online screen.

yeah but clans aren't ranks, they are usergroups.

....oh yea..... so the only way to do what i said is to make special ranks and manually give them to the right people....that would take too long.

It's a very interesting idea... But how about a friends list where u can add ur friends or/and groups, and on your private list the ones who are online is bold??

Friends list is also coming with phpbb 3.0 and I wouldn't be surprised if it tells you which friends are online.

PoohsTuger, you should use the forum search feature to find discussions on such ideas. You will find, for example, that a friends list is suggested at least once a week!
