I like the idea!

Whats the total amount of points per country whats the average score per conuntry & maybe more statistics per country :)

The average per country would interesting, sure there are a lotta top USA players but maybe also a few lower ranked? If say Finland only has top players they would score higher? (just an example :) )

Though perhaps this should be under the suggestions forum...

i really like this idea, would love to see where canada stacks up against the nations of the world. hopefully a kind mod (LOL, crapped myself laughing at this part when i read this over) will move this to the suggestions forum and maybe get put on the to do list. then its only another 20 or so odd years for it to be implemented and we can finally start nation bashing in the flame wars!!!!!! :P

Average players though. I'm sure there are lots of USA players at the bottom of the scoreboard too.

(Probably, most players on any page will be US.)

Hmmm... there's one problem with it which makes such statistics somewhat unuseful. Right now, the nation flags are based on IP-addresses which doesn't always say much. Apart from the fact that people go on vacation, moves around etc. switching their flags from time to time (the past year, I must have had seven or so different flags next to my name), it all depends on the server through which you hook up on. While at work, I have a German flag while at home a Swedish.

This thread is encoraging competition.

I think the idea of nations working together in these troubled times would be a more desirable topic for this thread.

No, really....

It could work if you culd choose the your nation. For instance, my friend is from Croatia like me, but is listed as Slovenian because of his internet provider. Also, lots of people don't are working or living abroad.

Yes, I realize that.

I'm sure you also make up a lot of the bottom ten as well. It's nothing against or for the US - it's sheer numbers. The majority of the members of this site are from the US so it makes sense that the majority of first, last and in-between positions will be filled by people from the US.

Just because most of the top positions are US, it doesn't mean you'll have the best average. You may very well might it, but then again you may not.

That's was my original bloody point, which you failed to get.

I would say jjust take it out of the top 1000 or so. so we aren't stuck with America losing points by deadbeats.
