thanks for the prompt response lack. you rule.lackattack wrote:Okay, no more 2-player terminator or assassin. Thanks fellas for pointing that out.
There is still a larger issue of terminator deadbeats and I invite you all to discuss proposed solutions here.
if we did that and presented a theoretical stat then i don't know if we would have achieved the same reaction. but as i said i'm willing to offer a rematch to all that want it.comic boy wrote:Well done Lack for acknowledging there was a serious problem and implementing the obvious fix. DiM I congratulate you for helping to get this resolved but am uneasy at the way you guys went about it. Surely it would have been better if instead of actually winning any games you could all have deadbeated when your opponents were down to the last army, this way every game would have ended in stalemate and nobody would have gained/lost any points. In principle I think all the games won during this experiment should be replayed and gifted back to the opponents so that they get the lost points back, no doubt this will resolve the bad feeling and neg feedback issues.

Yes but you havent explained the need to actually take points, why not simply deadbeat those games that you were going to win at the very last moment.DiM wrote:if we did that and presented a theoretical stat then i don't know if we would have achieved the same reaction. but as i said i'm willing to offer a rematch to all that want it.comic boy wrote:Well done Lack for acknowledging there was a serious problem and implementing the obvious fix. Then we wouldn't get the points if we were to deadbeat out of games we are winning.comic boy wrote:Yes but you havent explained the need to actually take points, why not simply deadbeat those games that you were going to win at the very last moment.DiM wrote:if we did that and presented a theoretical stat then i don't know if we would have achieved the same reaction. but as i said i'm willing to offer a rematch to all that want it.comic boy wrote:Well done Lack for acknowledging there was a serious problem and implementing the obvious fix. because if i would have done that it would have been a theoretical experiment. by leaving the game when the other one was at 1 army it would have been a theoretical gain of points not an actual one. and as i've seen before people respond better and faster to facts than to theories.comic boy wrote:Yes but you havent explained the need to actually take points, why not simply deadbeat those games that you were going to win at the very last moment.DiM wrote:if we did that and presented a theoretical stat then i don't know if we would have achieved the same reaction. but as i said i'm willing to offer a rematch to all that want it.comic boy wrote:Well done Lack for acknowledging there was a serious problem and implementing the obvious fix. first of all all of the people in this experiment put together played less games then alex alone. in fact you have more terminator 1v1 games than me.JOHNNYROCKET24 wrote:I agreecomic boy wrote:Well done Lack for acknowledging there was a serious problem and implementing the obvious fix. pyro and Alex white were both banned/warned. In all fairness, they did the exact same thing. A stern warning should have been applied. Punishment should be fair and consistant.
you are dumb...you know that? my net gain from 1 vs 1 games is in the negative. like -300 to -400DiM wrote:first of all all of the people in this experiment put together played less games then alex alone. in fact you have more terminator 1v1 games than me.JOHNNYROCKET24 wrote:I agreecomic boy wrote:Well done Lack for acknowledging there was a serious problem and implementing the obvious fix. also i'd advise you to look at your neighbors in the top of the scoring list and look for deadbeating in terminator 1v1 games .... like...ummm....comic boy
PS: i agree comic boy's games were created for fun and perhaps a deadbeating agreement was settled prior to the game but nevertheless it's still a case of bending the rules to avoid point loss.
PPS: oh, and johnny my next assignment is to get 1v1 freestyle games banned. so profit now cause your source of point may dwindle. at some point in the experiment i did search for 1v1 freestyle against low rankers like you did and it was so funny to see 5-6 players like that and by the time i tried to join all of them you were already joining some to get some points.
and i have no idea what comic boy did. he obvioulsy dint post anything here about it like a noob like you have. if he was in the wrong doing than he should receive a warning too.DiM wrote:first of all all of the people in this experiment put together played less games then alex alone. in fact you have more terminator 1v1 games than me.JOHNNYROCKET24 wrote:I agreecomic boy wrote:Well done Lack for acknowledging there was a serious problem and implementing the obvious fix. first of all please control your language. i did not insult you at all. you claim you are a great player. let me tell you something great players have respect besides high points. you don't have that respect and never will until you learn how to behave as a true great player.JOHNNYROCKET24 wrote:you are dumb...you know that? my net gain from 1 vs 1 games is in the negative. like -300 to -400DiM wrote:first of all all of the people in this experiment put together played less games then alex alone. in fact you have more terminator 1v1 games than me.JOHNNYROCKET24 wrote:I agreecomic boy wrote:Well done Lack for acknowledging there was a serious problem and implementing the obvious fix. i have to have a ratio of 12-1 just to break even. god you really are a noob.
i'll tell you what comic boy did he set up a few terminator games against friends with an agreement to deadbeat when the game outcome was clear. it was a battle where none of the players wanted to lose points and simply wanted to test their strength. i see nothing wrong with that but according to your judgement perhaps he should be warned, no? give me a break.JOHNNYROCKET24 wrote:and i have no idea what comic boy did. he obvioulsy dint post anything here about it like a noob like you have. if he was in the wrong doing than he should receive a warning too.DiM wrote:first of all all of the people in this experiment put together played less games then alex alone. in fact you have more terminator 1v1 games than me.JOHNNYROCKET24 wrote:I agreecomic boy wrote:Well done Lack for acknowledging there was a serious problem and implementing the obvious fix. go to start a game check 2 players check freestyle put a password and then post in the callouts saying you want just people over 2000 points to join.
this is what a man does when he wants a challenge.
and believe me i'm willing to bet that if you start 100 freestyle 1v1 games and ask in the callouts for people over 2000 points the games will be filled within hours of you posting.
I did exactly as you suggested but instead, I also included "Johnnyrocket24" in my search.JOHNNYROCKET24 wrote:again, let me explain your ignorance
