in an assassin game, if u eliminate/ ur target is eliminated, u win the game, as in its over? or does the game go on... because in the instructions it says u win and that didnt seem right to me.

Yeah, totally different strategy in that type of game. For example, you also don't want to significantly weaken players than your target in an assassin game, either, because it makes it that much easier for another player to take them out and win.

On the other hand, it makes for a MUCH faster game!

Yep! The person who eleminates their "target" from the game (or has their target eliminated, first) wins the game... that simple.

So a terminatior game lasts until any one player is eliminated... then whoever had them as their target wins. And that's it!
