Feedback: Idea was great, but it's implementation was quite weird with people representing the same side fighting against each other
It would be more logical, if there would be some kind of points system for games. Like 1x1 games at everymap or 2x2 games at every map, with points for victory accumulated separately for GB and Commonwealth, and separately for US for relevant victories. And in the end of the tourney, when all maps would be played, we would more fairy know, who is better at CC
Now there is 44 maps, so, my idea, if there would be 11 players in each team (11 in US, 11 in GB& Commonwealth), in first round, could be set first 11 maps, 1x1, same options (esc, sec, unlim, for example), players join the available game on their own choice, the only condition: no games against the players of your team. So, practically every game should be Commonwealth vs US. And then for every victory 3 points to the team.
When first round is over, the 2nd startds, with maps from 12th till 22th. 3rd round maps from 23-33, and 4th - 34-44.
If the game continues over 20 rounds, it's considered to be a draw and brings 1 point to both teams.
And when all 44 maps are played - then total points per team show, which side won.
More complicated version: when there are both single and double games played at every map. So, 1st round, again first 11 maps start also as doubles, and every player should register in two games. Players team up as they want, but only with their side: US with US, GB&Commonwealth with GB&Commonwealth. Points are counted the same way. And then again it would be more fair basis to defining, which side is winning - as both single and double playing skills at occasional maps would be demostrated.
So, practically then every participant will need 3 slots.
Oh, I did not expect to write to much
