Personally, what I'm hoping for is the long-awaited Phpbb Rivals.

The clan aspect of CC will be taken to a whole new level..

I guess it could. There are two choices:

1) No updates for a LONG LONG LONG LONG time and then a big one

or

2) A little update every 3 weeks or so

I would prefer getting updates every 3 weeks

Everyone can quit complaining about when the updates will happen. Lack could leave the site how it is and refuse to implement anything new because he doesn't have to. Instead of complaining when updates occur, just be glad that THEY ARE HAPPENING and THEY WILL CONTINUE TO HAPPEN. They have said it will be a BIG update, so I am sure it will accomodate what about 90% of people want.

It doesn't matter WHAT YOU EXPECT. Although the updates are something that is nice because it keeps the "customers" as you would call us happy, but there is NOTHING that claims this is a business although you pay for perks, not for the service altogether. You shouldn't expect anything more than what you were told when you bought a premium account. In case you forgot, let me refresh your brain what you signed up for with a premium account:

Play UNLIMITED simultaneous games
Create password-protected PRIVATE games (which Free members may join, too)
Have a GOLDEN rank icon display next to your name
Feel that WARM and FUZZY feeling you get from supporting a website that you love

No where in what you agreed to when purchasing a premium account does it mention anything about lackattack updating the site to meet what you think needs to be added.

Not trying to come off as harsh or rude, but too many people expect too much too soon. I have done some website design, and it was practically NOTHING compared to this. I can't imagine all the headaches and problems lack deals with to give us updates when he does. I am just saying we should be grateful he is updating the site instead of just sitting back and no implementing any changes.

Actually, the second option (or at least a smaller time frame) is what lack has mentioned he has in mind for most future updates, it's just the update that he is working on is much more in depth, and covers a lot more things, technical wise, than previous updates.

I agree with Fuzzy.. however.. It IS a business.. you can't get new customers if you don't have something new to offer.. how else could you get the free members to pay for the membership if you don't make your product more appealing to them?

I'm not desperate for the updates... still enjoying the last ones.. HOWEVER.. I know I feel a little tiny bit disappointed when I log in after weeks and I still see that "Two player games" notice in the home page...

Now, I think those $20 are not enough for all the good games and great laughs I've had on this site.. I'd say the most profitable $20 ever.

That been said... since wicked said Lack still may have the update ready before the end of the month.. I'll come back tomorrow to check..

The last couple of updates were complete surprises for me, so I have absolutely no complaints. If anything, the possibilities of this next update will do more for me as a tournament organizer than an actual player.

I would still pay 20 dollars a year for exactly what we have, even if it never changed.
