oh and when I asked if this was a mafia game without mafia, a couple people said it was the general consensus. it seems others think that native americans are the mafia faction though. I'm still not sure. I guess we'll find out tomorow. I'm prepared to win it for today.

This is an integral part of playing mafia. If you don't want to take time to read, don't get involved in the first place. Especially in the larger games.
Ok this is starting to piss me off. I've had entirely to many people that signed up and then want to drop for no good reason. The following people have been added to my personal shit list/black list. Cena and Duday. Cena if you blame this game for moving to fast then you should go play at mafiascum where it seems to take about two weeks to do one day without much happening in them. Evidently you want to play in games with a bunch of submariners. Day 1 always is full of crap. In the future you may get off of that list, but for now you've made it onto that list. Duday you have no chance of getting off to play in any of my future games. You claim you quit because of your role being "boring" without even giving your role a chance for future happenings from the game. You have not earned the right to be given any type of "special" role.
NES while I am hesitant to have you in a bigger type game, you are more then welcome to join any of the noob games that I run to help improve your skills since I know you will at least post. Just have to work on your temper. If you do wind up improving like most players eventually do then you most likely would be allowed back. I'll gauge how much you improve through other games I see you in as I also had Jake on a semiblacklist for the more involved games although he has gotten better recently other than a recent game where he went on a spam rant in pms.
On a foggy day, the Union and Confederates engage upon their first skirmish of the war. Many shots were fired as people were unsure about who was in their alliance. Just as the troops were stopping their fighting for the night(It was common for the soldiers to stop fighting at night during the civil war), a scream happens. NES (Union soldier) is found lying dead with a still smoldering cannonball lying on top of his corpse.
You hae 3 hours and 50 minutes to try to lynch another person. Everyone that was involved on the kill of NES has had their vote reset. With 33 alive it takes 17 kills to kill someone.
I don't think we are going to have enough time for a second lynch. Anyways I voted to kill goop earlier I think theres an error in the vote count as I don't remember unvoting.
BTW, FOS all bandwagoners. I know that everyone wanted to lynch NES, but the people who just skimmed to this page and just said "Everyone else is voting him so i might as well".

Anyway:
Syzygy is my second Scummy person. At this point the only two logical options are to either build a serius case against someone or lynch NES. Your vote looks to me like you are so afraid to bandwagon that you would rather throw your vote out of the window. FOS Syzygy
You FOS me for not agreeing with you! I like your style.
Yes, I could have voted to kill NES quite happily, but I don't believe he has a "scummy" role. This is my first game with him, so I'm feeling sympathetic to his cause.
Regardless, NES is dead now and, hay he was just Union...
Only have one problem with that jnd. This is day 1. We needed a lynch, and so everyone voted accordingly. (I'm one of the original voters of NES ftr) It's late in the day and everyone decided any lynch was better than no lynch, and as far as candidates for lynch go, NES was a perfect choice for many of us.

And Im poretty sure i was too, but I just dont like it hwen ppl dont even read the thread, but just vote, and say "Because everyone else is."

I find it hard to believe that Natives, Europeans or any other third party are the mafia here. This is supposed to be a battle between the Union and the Confederacy. Adding a third party with mafia powers has a high chance of turning it into Union+Confeds versus Third Party, which I think is way too far from the historical reality.
My opinion is that everybody who is not Union or Confed can either be recruited or is free to join one of them (except for the SK, of course). That way, the focus stays on North vs. South.
I don't see why that would be boring, as AD claimed. Aimless recent Re Inquisition had a ton of recruitable townies/survivors, some of whom would gain special powers upon recruitment. It worked fine there and it would work fine here.
OK. Nes is dead and so is the pain in my ass. Now on to target number 2. KILL GOOP Im sorry about not being very active. If you are in other games with me you will know that its in all games not just this one. The weekend is over now though so I should be active again.
Well the deadline has passed, but it's nice to know the role right away, I thought it was like Cat mafia but good change
Concerning the bandwagon, with so many required for a lynch it is to be expected. Once the numbers reduce, it'll be easier to see who just goes with the flow.
DUDE! Already hit lynch quota already on day one again!?!? I was hoping to convince you, but alas... I crash and burn... or is this one of those time is up things where most votes quota or NOT gets the lynching... I am getting quite bothered here...
I'm back after an all too long hiatus.
Real life sure knows how to intervene.

I understand. I should have known that fate would throw an uppercut to knock me down, but I must get back on my feet as I am willing to die to win.

Thanks for noticing I didn't want to stay there and I don't go to the front page enough to notice. and BTW the way I read into this game is that the north and the south are two separate mafia that can recruit. Am I right?
