The two smartest I've come across are Luns and Guiscard. However I think Guiscard has the edge because he has a deeper knowledge in a variety of subjects and is also studying for a Phd and he lives near me.

I'm most impressed when people that I might suspect to be especially idiotic aren't, so I'm gonna go with...... STATIC_ICE! He's one of the most intellectually respectable teenage boys here (though there are a few others, I will say).

Sure, Guiscard, like, knows more STUFF than static, probably, but there'd be something really wrong with the world if he didn't.

So far as I can see this thread appears to be dedicated to repeatedly mentioning the names of posters who frequently attempt to indulge in serious 'debate' here on CC. It's unfortunate that the intellects of those who don't see the internet as such a serious business are being, for the most part, ignored. While I don't doubt the intelligence of the already nominated candidates I can't help but feel that the true CC geniuses might well be the ones whose attempts at causing mayhem or hilarity are most original/succesful.

As such I'd like to remind everybody of several posters who have demonstrated keen intelligence/wit outside of terribly serious debating threads (although this list is by no means exhaustive):

I fail to see how the internet in any way hampers the ability to have a debate. And if you pretend to be an idiot online, how do you expect us to have respect for your "intellect", given that the only interaction that we will ever have with you is online?

Out of DM's list I'd say BK Barunt is the smartest, but he's in flame wars and not so much the Clubhouse. So, since this is a clubhouse list I'd go with Norse out of that.
