Distasteful Alliances

I find it very distasteful to make a alliance in round 3 before you see which way a game is going to go and to add gas to the fire to never even bother announcing the terms. I just wanted to ask a few vets if my thinking is off on this? http://www.conquerclub.com/game.php?game=763576

I never see an alliance as distastful. Its a six player game, it's not its not exatly like you are being targeted specifically. If there are terms to an alliance, then they should be put in chat but don't forget it is possible that its an open alliance, rather than an alliance (truce really) over a single border for a specific amount of time.
