Im interested about modding a mafia game but i know not many people would be crazy about it. Maybe if there are other people thinking like me we can understudy to great mods.

You're a hell of alot more experienced than say cenarules or NESconqueror. I think you should give it a shot. The only problem you face is organization - make sure you photocopy and NEVER LOSE your mod sheet. Screwed me over in another game.
start small. You might want to consider running a C9 mafia, maybe make it non vanilla to maintain interest (that's what I did for my first game). Also, most mods around here will help you out if you need it, just ask.
Mabey you and I should co mod a game together. We are both expereinced players but inexpereinced mods. Together I think we could do something really great!
My problem is mostly that im not good at balancing the roles. And that i cant be as active as some people. Ill be on every day, but still not every 3 hours a day

just update it when you're around. try to get it at least every day and more often if you can. as far as role balancing goes, just do trial and error or have someone not in the game look it over or at least look it over without getting two specific with the role types
