That's one of the reasons why I love playing as Ness.

You want to be an ass and stay down in the lower area the whole time? (Otherwise known as Fight Club) Fine, I'll just stay up at the top and PK Thunder you until you come back up or hit 999% damage.

Surprisingly, they always come back up ...

if any decent player wanted to stay away from you they could... they'd just get booted from the tournament eventually...

Meh. I'm fine with Hyrule Temple so long as nobody camps at the bottom all the time. I can still fight there, but it's annoying.

Also, so long as Fox doesn't run around the stage playing cat-&-mouse.

Ah, no, you don't get it.

Example Match: Tourney Rules (4 stock, 8 min time, no sudden death, higher percent loses)

I pick Fox.
You pick Pika.
I shoot you once with the laser.
You run after me.
I outrun you & go under stage.
You give chase.
I outrun you & go back to stage top.
Repeat for 8 minutes.

Result:

Fox: 4 stocks, 0% damage
Pika: 4 stocks, 2% damage

Fox wins.

And THAT'S why Temple is banned in Tourney Play.

You conveniently forgot to mention that I was using characters I don't normally use. You could barely ever hit when I was using Mario, Fox, or Samus. You hit me when I was Marth [whom I never use], and you still almost never hit me [you spammed Falcon Punch so much to be "funny"].

Falcon is fastest, I believe Fox is SECOND fastest. Better look at M2K's statistics.

Running Speed

a ">" means that the character to the left of the ">" ACCELERATES to his/her top speed QUICKER than the character to the right of the ">"

a "=" means the two or three characters between the "=" have the same exact acceleration.

Note: Acceleration was measured with the BUNNY HOOD on, no matter how small and impossible-to-tell the difference (as long as one of my 10000 tests showed a difference than I put the difference down in this list)

1) Captain Falcon
2) Fox
3-5) Sheik > Pikachu > Marth
6) Pichu
7-10) Young Link > Roy > Yoshi > DK
11-15) Falco > Dr. Mario = Mario > Mr. Game & Watch > Bowser
16-20) Samus > Kirby = Mewtwo > Ice Climbers > Ness
21) Ganondorf
22) Luigi
23-24) Link > Peach
25-26) Jigglypuff > Zelda

ya I'm going to try to do that. I had one memory card, that had all characters but Mewtwo and no stages that I did myself. But I think I also accidenetly deleted that too.

LOL. i love ness, but i DO stay down in the lower area of Hyrule all the time.

whoever goes down there with me pretty much gets owned. cause i play ness really fast so i can bounce my opponents off the walls and combo over and over until he has a ton of damage. Then i go up top and finish him.
