I don't really get the argument for lynching NES. Yes, he is scattering scumtells like confetti, but he always does that.

I agree, a god is a pretty definitive source of info. It's probably just the suddenness throwing me off. And yesterday's votes for Fircoal seem to indicate that yes, you can lynch a god.

Of course. That doesn't mean he can't be scum, though.

Wow, I can't believe everyone went after NES like that. His role-claimed seem right, and the way he was squirming by the pressure was amazingly stupid. But he did turn out to be town, so now I'm off to find the scum.

Jake. You kept going after NES over and over again, not even trying to find a clear way of thinking. If you just thought about how NES plays, then you would of known that's how he plays. Stupidity is his virtue in Mafia, never forget that. You were pushing to see what his night-action was. Why? What would it of gained? You wouldn't of believed him anyway, which you didn't, and so why the push?

Stupid? Hell, I played my share of games with Nes, and didn't think he could accumulate so much scumminess all at once. As for pushing for his action, since he had claimed already it was supposed to be a dead giveaway that he was scum if he blocked someone that had a night action going through.
Now the only thing that bugs me is that since we had only 1 NK Mandy might be telling the truth, but I'm not sure if he really has the kind of powers that can undiscover a role. If he's aiming randomly, odds are he's wrong. Depends of what he can do I guess

Objectively, you can't say the evidence wasn't good. I said it already on day 1, the scummiest was Nes. Now the problem is that every game Nes is in, he accumulates scumtells without ever learning shit, to a level that amazes me. If you want to blame me for his loss, so be it, but regardless of his role I was right in my argument.

Yes he gives off scumtells left and right although once he did his roleclaim that early I did think that he was protown.

Honestly, if i was here before his suicide I would have voted NES myself. It's too bad he was town but sans the info of his role, in the event he was telling the truth, I doubt that he would be of any use to us anyway unless he fell ass-backwards into a lucky night target. Using that logic I don't suspect the bandwagon on NES.

I'm gonna vote cena. godalorian's word needs to be tested and I can think of no better way.

Cena being SK and NES blocking/protecting him would indeed explain the low kill count. With cena acting all scummy day 1, it makes sense he was targetted by a town vig (assuming there is one) or the mafia might have already guessed him to be a SK and chose to get rid of him. So I believe mandy is telling the truth and I will vote cena-rules.

I don't suppose Mandy is up for some more 'divine intervention', explaining why he personally cares and what he means by he is a rogue god.

(As to the rogue god comment, maybe he is Talos. Lathander, Bhaal and Talos were the 3 big chief Gods in Baldur's Gate 2.)

Here's a wikipedia entry on Talos. To me he doesn't sound like the sort of deity I would trust, being fond of destruction and all.
