QFT.
Although, my uncle is a big Star Trek fan, but hes not a Trekkie. He hated how the last episode ended.

No question it's II -- The Wrath of Khan. The only one that is thematically deep. The whole recurrence of the Theme of the No-win situation and how you deal with death. Spock: "I never took the kobayashi maru test. What do you think of my solution?" From beginning to end it's Dickens vs. Melville; a Tale of Two Cities vs. Moby Dick. Watch it again looking for the theme. You'll be amazed. I'm not even really a trekkie and I think this is one of the best movies ever made.

The Wrath of Khan, absolutely.
And I seem to be the only Star Trek fan who actually liked Star Trek V. It was fun!

I voted for V even though I think that was the only Trek film I haven't seen.
I'm just voting by reputation.

Which one was that? After IV with the whales I get 'em mixed up. Wait, was V the one with the renegade Vulcan who started a cult?

Wrath of Kahn was way up there... just classic Trek....
I did love the Director's Edition of TMP ......
Generations was a great cross-over piece....
Oh and I did enjoy 5 also... the story was in the vein of the Original Series.... and it had lots of running and jumping. HEHE

Khan: From hell's heart, I stab at thee. For hate's sake, I spit my last breath at thee.
Khan: But first, torpedo the whales.

Well, seems like really great casting with two exceptions:
WINONA RYDER AS MY SECOND FAVORITE STAR TREK CHARACTER EVER!!?! Noooooo.
Simon Pegg as Scotty? Is this a joke?

There's nothing like having a couple Orion Slave girls to spice up a bachelor party.

I think they picked perfectly. I can see him pulling that off. He's pretty versatile... and Scotty needs a light hearted touch.
