This kill is beyond noobiness. So I'm more inclined to believe the killer is trying to throw us off or is killing totally randomly.

Thinking about it, on the odd chance there is a day killer, better I claim now. Seeing the kill I thought I'd rather wait but I don't want to tempt my luck further

I'm Brega, cop. Last night I investigated Nag, came up as Lathander cult leader. There must be at least 2 recruits there (but maybe Nes was part of it, not sure if he was just a believer or not).
Anyway contrary to yesterday with Cena, this is a clear threat and in no way pro-town, so...
My first investigation was pro-town, I won't out him if he's not threatened.

Exile already pointed out that the gods here have their own agenda. I got cult leader as result, so didn't even bother checking who this lathander guy was

Besides, I think it might be Mandy as his intervention on the previous day came right when we were gonna get Nes lynched. So, 2 birds with one stone

Okay... Cults are typically bad in an average game of Mafia.

This would be like a Lawful Good Priest coming into your town and telling you that the forces of darkness are coming and trying to kill you, and the town lynches him because he is the leader of a religious group.

You will quickly find soon after that the Chaotic Evil people come through and kill you all.

I agree with you on this but I still have a question: How did you get Cult Leader? The vast, vast, vast majority of all mods that I have played under simply send Mafia or Town or Cult back; no mention of their role.

Can anyone provide refrences of Exile sending role info back to cops, rather than simply alliegence?
