I have always been very suspicious about men who have liberal leanings.

I can understand ladies having liberal leanings, as they are pre-programmed to be nurturing, attentative and loving. But men, who are pre-programmed to have large sexual urges, territroial and bread-winning instincts, do not in my mind, strike me as pre-disposed to liberalism.

This makes me very wary about what liberal men are hiding.....are they sub-conciously preparing themselves for defence against what they are hiding about themselves?

Is it a sick sexual perversion that drives you people? Maybe some sinister underhand tactic to gain the trust of a vulnerable person?

I think your actually wrong about the instinctual urge theory. Seemingly in a modern world, a man distinguishes himself from other men by the ability to adapt to diverse circumstances and be able to critically look at the world around him in order to shape his views and actions.

Seemingly, the more conservative one is, the less able they are to face change and respond to it in ways that suggest productive, positive mental processes.

I dont disagree that a guy living in a tribe probably should surround himself with me first views if he wants to survive. But the man in the modern world has to be more diverse by nature, and part of this means i think not having such puritan sexual views (not that people in europe do but we sure do here). I doubt the average liberal man runs into the same sexual problems than the conservative man does, because hes taught sex is wrong, despite the fact that he wants it so much.

Under your own logic, if we are looking at finding ways to best satisfy urges in the 21st century, the open minded thinker probably stands a much better chance of having them fufilled than the conservative thinker.

no i would signify a difference between old money and new money though. Certainly old money is likely to have conservative views and that would seem to be a matter of course. However lets face it, the nature of basic political ideology leads conservatives to have a better draw if your talking about very top crust. However this breaks down a lot since most people arent that rich.

Also my rant is much more related to social conservatism than economic, and you should be able to see that.
