I am a newbie to games this large. I feel sorta lost, too many variables and people to keep track of O.o. Also forgive me for my ignorance, but wouldn't roleclaiming as a doctor be a terrible idea considering the mafia can just kill him off in the night, or are there most likely multiple doctors with this many townies.

Hmm, very well then. I still believe the doctor claim seems rather scummy. A perfect excuse to get townies afraid, and I know from experience that as a doctor I would try to avoid any external attention. A roleclaim as a Cop or a Townie would have done the same job and this seems a bit over the top. This is my opinion from playing with a different set of people though, maybe you guys play differently. The first day doesn't reveal anything, I'll let time tell.

Do what I do:ignore day 1 completely

Chances are you're gonna get confused more than anything else so I just skate through day 1 only reading about a third of the posts. I only start paying attention when there are less people or something big happens

Works for me on account of the fact that I usually survive til near-end

It's called being evilly insane. Though I don't know if I was too harsh. I mean even for someone like me who loves to torture people. Making Shadow the boss of someone is a bit extreme.

LS is also gone, until Monday. In that time the lynch might finish, and as night is a total of 3 days [2 normal nights plus the buffer, and I might extend the normal night a bit if I only have one night action to go], you and LS will be back near the beginning of the next day, or during the buffer.
