I would say my best game is sequential escalating games since that's what got me to #1. But I've got an even better record in both no cards and flat rate games, just don't play those anymore since some can turn into stalemates. As far as freestyle games go, I have plenty of advice there as well but many of the winning strategies depend on how much free time you have, lol.

As far as maps go, I played a variety of them while I was doing sequential escalating games, although I don't have much experience with the gimmicky maps. If you would like analysis on any particular map I could play some games and get you some info on them.

Last year's lesson recipient found the best way was by having me look at the games he is in and having me give advice as to the best course of action for each game because strategies change from game to game.
