There is a pretty big immigration issue there currently, and it is somewhat ironic that someone with your views on the current immigrant status in your country would go to one place, where immigration is probably a bigger spatial issue than it is in your own country. As the immigrant no less.

My occupation? I'm an engineer for a multi-national research firm. I install and maintain the research equipment...the actual equipment itself is scarily big-brotherish....the actual data that is attained from our equipment is sold to advertisement firms, and governmental organisations.....
