CC has many similarities to George Orwell's 1984

The image of a teenage ninja mutant turtle is posted through-out the forums (All too similar to big brother in 1984) and we can be tracked by ruthless Mods that use tactics all too similar to the 'thought police'. There are many members that are 'premium members' that get all the benefits (very similar to the inner party) We are nothing but proles and i urge the rest of us to realise that we are being duped before i cease to exist and all records of me are altered by the ministry of truth and i am sent to the ministry of love For my re-education.

well you see, hold the analogy together, you dont need to be able to have a webcam. The computer screen which you see the info from is where they see you from.

It's a pretty good book. It's also rather short, so it should make for a quick read.

hard to say, but i suppose if you really wanted to find a goldstein, flame wars may be the best direction to head.

ha i cant as of yet. I feel i better serve the movement by quietly approving from the sidelines, rather than actively taking a stance in the inactive.

I've been trying to find it for a long time but yet haven't. I've read Animal Farm, but not 1984 yet

i would actually check just a local library (id be surprised if they didnt have it) or even somewhere on the internet, i would imagine theres probably a full text version out there somewhere.

I've been looking at the local library, and a book store, and they both didn't have it! BLAH!
