gee I can't possibly see where you got an idea like that click

also here's the image of that version

Unit_2 please stop this

asking him if he's going to finish and if not using his idea is fine. even trying to do the idea yourself after he's been gone for quite some time is probably acceptable.

taking his idea exactly and putting it out there as your own is NOT OK.

How many times must this type of issue come up with you?

Actually there are 2 more territories in the US. Seems pretty different to me.

Unit_2 you are not going about this map making business correctly.

YOU ARE NEVER GOING TO GET A MAP DONE IF.................

1) You never try to finish
2) You just make crazy ideas and don't think about gameplay before you propose them
3) You steal others ideas and make people think you are tryinf to steal ideas.

My advice is. WORK ON JAPAN. Take peoples advice. Listen to them. Improve your skills on that map. Make it as good as you can and once that gets done, start a new idea.

Regardless of what they look like now. He will never get any better if he justs keeps quiting every idea to go onto the next. He needs to stick one out and learn as he works.

Unit_2

I am with WM on this one, and it appears those who have posted above.

I am not saying also that you can't propose new ideas, but don't put up polls on them unless you are prepared to see the idea through.
People are getting quite tired of seeing this "boy who cried wolf" syndrome coming from you. The outcome of that situation is that no-one in the forum may beleive anything you say or propose in the future if you can't show some finished product for the effort that they put into providing feedback on your maps. For your own sake, get these current projects finished before starting or proposing new ones. you haven't even got out of New Ideas with your current maps in your signature.

Also, i would look at doing a llittle research before you put something up as an idea.

The above map (wherever you got it from) is basically flawed in its title.

The title is The Caribbean Sea.

We already have a map on CC - done by edbeard and very nicely - called Caribbean Islands. It is available for play if you haven't noticed.

The geographic area you have in your map above does NOT represent the Caribbean Sea. It represents Central America, the Caribbean Island and Sea, and a portion of South America and North America. Also the Galapogas Islands are a province of the Republic of Ecuador in South America, and are part of the Pacific Ocean not part of the Atlantic as it is the case with the Caribbean Islands.

I see that this idea has come from a map that is currently on vacation. Have you contacted the mapmaker to ask courteously if they are going to continue working on this map. You gave no indication of having done so in your first post in this idea. :?

bro, take the advice of the other members. stick to one map to begin with, work on that, finish it and then move on to the next project.

Yes i guess this would be OK.

But you are still advised to finished your existing maps first before taking on other projects.

is that no-one really liked the idea? or did you not give it time to work by working at updating it, and now you got sick of it so decided to throw it in the trash?

U have got to stop doing this, otherwise as i have stated before no-one is going to believe you.

I say you do whatever you want personally. I thought the closing of dc was justified.

I'd like to see you focus on one project enough to get it out of Map Ideas.

A good idea right now in my opinion would be working on getting good names for the places in Japan.
