scum. i don't always agree with the bad guy, but they tend to win :D
for criminal organizations, the mafia have always fascinated me, i don't know why. maybe it's because despite their dirty underdealings, they get the job done. and pop culture always portrays them in a positive-ish light.

I tend to personally play better as town although I've had a few good games as scum mostly the first unriggable catastrophe mafia where I lost my partner due to a mistake early on, but still managed to win by myself

Unique roles basically, may it be Town, mafia or 3rd party :)

I've never been third party. I imagine that would be fun.

I prefer to be scum because I usually last longer. :p

I prefer third party roles, with scum a close second.

I don't care about my win/loss record or anything like that (I don't even keep track of it), they are just the most fun roles to play, in my opinion. Give me a SK or a Usurper role and I'm happy.

And I like third-party because its fun to do things on your own and be the underdog against the large factions competing for the win, subtly affecting the battle going on but having no allegiance to either side, playing one side against the other.

Third-party ftw.
