depending on the mod some mods keep the game going even after a jester wins via being lynched. Personally I'm thinking he is a plain jane role or actually the Godfather in case a cop actually investigated him on night 1 where eh would turn up clean.

Yes unless you have a special role that might be "all knowing" they turn up clean. Depending on the mod some make them unable to be killed at night although most do not. I know personally in my games the Godfather's can die just like any other character.
