I made a similar comment, though I hope with more and better reasoning, but nothing.Optimus Prime wrote:There is nothing wrong with the new Canada map. If you don't like it you should pay a little more attention to what goes on in the Foundry. It is no secret that the older maps are up for consideration to have a cartographer revamp them. If you want them to stay the same then make the effort to glance at what is going on in the foundry from time to time.
you think thats ugly?.Kush wrote:just plan ugly and confusing. changed the map in the middle of my game too. i dont like it at all
Hardly representative, I know, but the major coverage of maps is when they go live and people think "WTF? What happened to the old one?". being discouraged and saying, essentially, "we don't need to hear this, we're going with this, because this is what we like" is not going to encourage the tourists.I think he's been more understanding of the issue then he needs to be.
there is already a thread about the new canadian map, but i guess anothe wont hurt....Brock wrote:Awsome in the literal sense! I dont know the guys who did this but hat's off! I quaff a pint of Keith's for each and every one of you!!

The map foundry sucks.
I don't have the time it takes to slog through hundreds of pages quibbling over map minutia.
