A dark, dark day. I blame myself really, for getting myself banned, and allowing the feeble minded time to group together, into this malignant collective of dull, bland, no-marked wasters.

Hmmm, I could do with a slave. knight, if you want to experience a totalitarian lifestyle, contact me. I would be happy to train you in battle and send you out to kill all the people i dont like
And of course, alll your possesions would belong to me which is also a bonus
Sparta was really wrong on a number of levels though. Whilst the concept of the individual as a warrior designed like a simple machine for the state is chilling, their government system did have its appeal as one that was able to breed strong and capable individuals. The question for a real Utopic state, is how to acheive a system in which the state serves the individual who himself is able to reject weakness and acheive his own reconstruction into a better organism, driven by love of the nation, dissociated from state, merely designed to give structure to the latter, but not something owed allegiance to.

they self destructed. they were like robots. their own slave based system collapsed in on itself. live a self imposed life of martial discipline if you want freedom and to be cool.
