Cricket is a once a day player and will miss some turns. I think his original bracket was the last to finish also. I think that's why he picked that map. If you happen to catch him when he's on, you may get a RT game. He's a solid player so have patience.

Actually, we aren't done just yet.

After going through the tie-breakers, cricket defeated DAZMCFC twice, and split the series with Laskdjf, therefore cricket gets the 3rd spot in Season 2.

The problem is the Laskdjf and DAZMCFC finished the season with 8-6 records and identical home and away records. Therefore, we have to have a one game, winner-take-all playoff to see who gets the final slot.

I have sent the game out to both of the players and we will have our group set shortly.

The playoff game will be played on the WWII Eastern Front map, with flat rate cards and adjacent fortifications.

Laskdjf and DAZMCFC have joined the sudden-death game and are duking out it. I'll let you know when we have the standings finalized.

Congratulations to jpcloet for being the overall champion of the Cybertronian League: Season 1!!!

He had to work his way through countless opponents and played a very strong season schedule!

Automatic Qualifiers for Season 2 are:

Invincible
cricket
DAZMCFC (winner of sudden death tie-breaker)

Unfortunately Laskdjf barely missed the cut for automatic qualification into Season 2, he'll have to win a bracket again to see league play again.

I want to thank everyone for participating, this was a long, big tournament, and all of you played with honor and passion!

For anyone who is wondering, Season 2 will take place in a couple of months, and the automatic qualifiers will get a PM to see if they wish to continue!
