Mars map

Post by faramund »

Isn't it a simple idea, take one of the Mars terraformed maps, and turn it into a game.

Great first post. We had a mars map going, but it kind of sucked and the people making it were trying to make a clan map more than a mars map.

If we ever have a mars map I insist that it has ties to doom in some way shape or form.

All mars related non-sense we've come up with.

The face monolith, and greenhouse from that movie, a big science station with zombies pouring out, the works.

Definitely use the actual terrain on Mars, such as Olympus Mons (largest mountain/volcano in the Solar System), and whatever that canyon is called that makes the Grand Canyon look like a stream. :) I love the Mars idea, though.

The problem with this idea is that mars doesn't have any bodies of water, so there are no easy to define continents... Sounds like it would be an incredibly hard map to make.
