I have so many pin numbers, log in names along with passwords which they say you shouldn't use the same of. I'm sorry my personal hard drive is getting a little full, meaning my brain. One can only store so many pins, log in names and passwords. Now comes the topic of paying for stuff, sure I've accepted standing in line for hours while people pay with their plastic, mean while I have a five dollar bill to pay for my one item which costs 3 dollars. Seriously think how long it takes to swipe a card, puch in the pin, decide which account to use, and if there is a blip do it over again? I'm not arguing with technology, but some of us feel more comfortable with paying for something whith out going threw a third party.Backglass wrote:Why are people so afraid of using PayPal to send money?
The only stories of people getting burned that I have read were from those receiving money through PayPal & the sender did a charge-back. Even so I have had a PayPal account for over seven years without a single problem.
You could always sign up, pay, then cancel the PayPal account if paranoid.
To join - as Lack said - you don't actually have to make a paypal account... The payment is a one off and unless you register at the same time then you don't need to remember anything...cdnfireman wrote:Strangely enough, under Help:
Damn wicked that silly help button, don't you know us guys don't use maps or clicky the help buttonThanks for showing it, seriously I never clicked on it before thinking it would just cover all the topics about CC I already read in the other sections.
As for the security issue, that's not my issue at all, it's just my dislike for using Paypal, that's all.
