1. Ivan Gundulić was one of the greatest Croatian Baroque poets. It doesn't surprise me that you newer heard of him but at least you, as an open-minded intellectual, could value other nations poets.
2. So all the me who play football are bad boys and hooligans and we are all going to burn in Hell for that? I know a lot of good guys who are playing football. This generalization simply "doesn't hold water".
3. I played football since I can remember myself. And I'm still playing football (every monday 20 to 22 PM) and my mentality...

i see what your aiming at, i agree partly but it's a way of getting people's attention from major issues, but it's also the thing that keep us going sometimes and also keep us sane (or similar thing, everyone has it's own). it's a way to relieve international tensions also, better to fight on pitch than on battlefields .
