They didn't "overthrow" french yoke France lierated he from Ottoman rule, then the Nazis tookit over in '43, when followed a recognition of independance from the General, and withdrawal of our troops in '46 after VE when the General took France back.

That said, now the mahometan hordes hace retaken it, I see no reason not to launch an assault on it and finish what Israel has failed to. Then, we will re-establish the Crusader Kingdom, and drive the Sarrasins back into the desert fromwhenc they came.
