really? I have never heard of anyone who didn't like at least some of the Beatles' stuff. i can't understand anyone not liking Led Zep either, but that's a little more subjective.
pink floyd have couple of good song and putting zeppelin on the list is a blasphemy... but you're not supposed to like something if u don't just the majority likes these bands what only proves their quality (well with nirvana and other grunge bands this is debatable even though you can't deny Smell like teen spirit is an absolute must hear)

I have been listening to a lot of PF over the past few days. A lot is brilliant, obviously, but I listened to Momentary Lapse of Reason for the first time - and it is absolute turd. Has anyone else experienced this particular feeling of disappointment?

Pink Floyd - The Wall weird film
Queen - totally shit
Genesis - same as above
Led Zep - never really listen to much, what i have don`t like
REM - very good
Nirvana, Pearl Jam (mainstream grunge in general) - Nirvana shit hot
Genesis (I don't like PedoPhil-e Collins, but Peter Gabriel is all right) The Police (for some reason they sound so gay to me) Fun Lovin' Criminals (I paid big bucks for their concert and they played for lousy 20 minutes; Scooby Snacks one hit wonders) Rolling Stones (retire already, only geriatrics listens to you!) New Kids On The Block (prototype for every Boy Band that came after them)

I actually converted around page 198. Unfortunately, I converted to satanism.
But they are so diverse and inclusive. I can imagine not liking them if the only kind of music you like is death metal and gangster rap. Otherwise...
i dont like any of those u listed, and i HATE the beatles music
Why? What do you not like about it? Which of their albums, or 'periods', do you like the the least?
all of them
So what you're saying is that you've never actually listened to the Beatles beyond their most famous four or five songs that you've heard on your grandma's oldies station and movie soundtracks?

I do like the Lennon/Harrison tracks on Revolver, PPM, and Rubber Soul to a degree. I also like their solo careers. Overall, though, I don't care for them at all. I could easily live without them, which isn't something I could say for other bands I'm somewhat indifferent to, like the Stones (Mick Jagger's one of the reasons many people hate rock, but damnit, "Can't You Hear Me Knockin'" is such an amazing track!).

Teen Spirit is good only for historical reasons; Nevermind as a whole is hopelessly overproduced. The one somewhat decent track, imo, is Something In The Way.
Re; Led Zep, I can do no better than to quote Elvis Costello: "There were two kinds of rock that had become artistically bankrupt to me. One was the "F--- me, I'm sensitive" Jackson Browne school of seduction, and the other was Led Zep's "Look at me, I've got a hairy chest and a big willy." attitude"
But they are so diverse and inclusive. I can imagine not liking them if the only kind of music you like is death metal and gangster rap. Otherwise...
Sins of the Beatles;
-Convinced a generation of rockers that twee teen pop was acceptable "rock"
-Pioneered prog rock, effectively destroying the "live in the studio" approach that defined rock and roll (I keep a copy of Sgt. Pepper around to play whenever I need to remind myself how truly great Chuck Berry was)
-Macca (need I say more?)
-Michelle (see above)
-Beat "Like a Rolling Stone" out of the #1 slot (Ok, this isn't a sin, just a personal grievance)
Actually, I hate death metal and the only rap album I own is an NWA release...I'm more a Dylan/Costello/1976 punk guy.

that's because Momentary Lapse of Reason was released after Roger Waters left the band. Anything before Final Cut is great.
Momentary Lapse and Division Bell are garbage.
Their first 12 albums are brilliant and everything afterwards is not worth your time. Most of the band members solo work is garbage as well, except for Syd Barrett
