Back when I was a mod on another site my response would be such that people wouldn't know who wrestler1ump or Ronaldinho were except for their existence in the game history.

In this case we're probably lucky if either one gets banned from the forums at all much less full out account/post deletion and ip banishment.

I did read that thread, and that's what got me about wrestler's latest attack--he did it outside of Flame Wars, in what initially looked like a typical posting for Cheating & Abuse. If I remember correctly, he's followed her around in her games, piled it on in that link above, and now this.

WTF.

That thread is actually two threads that have been merged together and locked. wrestler1ump had made a second thread, after the creation of the one by Ron, in General Discussions.

Twill locked the thread the above post was made on and indicated he was going to deal with lump, consideing lump was already on a warning i fully expect twill to deal with this in a manner appropriate to its seriousness.

My problem was not with the sentiment or the language. It was with the location of the post. Shitty things about people should stay in Flame Wars, not out in the rest of the forums. Txbonita6 should not have released personal information onto the internet, but since she did, any shitty posts should have stayed in FW.

People coming out of the woodwork and crucifying Whump and Ronadildo does nothing for me as related to the content of speech. It was only the place of the speech.

Not to belabor the obvious, but Whump really is a f'ing hypocrite of the highest order with his crusade to eliminate FW.

I have also noted the lack of Whump posts for the last 24 hours or so, I would believe that he is on a short sabbatical from posting. He always has Prowler to post through or one of his other multis.

Guys I am so sorry for flaming outside of flame wars.

What I did was wrong. Obviously the rest of the forum should not have to put up with the drivel that goes on at flame wars, so I was out of line insulting txbonita in the Cheating and Abuse Reports part of the forum. And yes it was hypocritcal of me. I can't deny it.

But Pinkyandthebrain, I am very disapointed in you for reporting me for it. I thought you and I were on good terms.

I do think that overall we are taking this issue too seriously. I flamed outside of flame wars. It's certainly not a good thing, but for 2 mods on here, plus twill to be coming down hard on me for it is a bit much. Plus this post made me mad:

I am offended that someone, especially a moderator, would want me to be banned from here. That's taking things way too far if you ask me. A short forum ban at max.

And don't refer to me as "whump". That's a flame, and that should stay on flame wars. Curmudgeonx is pretty much as guilty as I am.

Anyways, won't happen again guys. But I think some of you do owe me an apology...

There were several complaints via PM to both myself and Twill before either of us even saw this thread. No moderator has called for an "IP ban". That's not the punishment that would come from something like this anyway, it would be a forum ban.

Flame Wars is meant to put people through crap. If you don't like it, don't go there. And bonita hadn't even talked to you in in Flame Wars. All she did was put you on her ignore list, and, as you can clearly see by your actions, it was perfectly justified. If you didn't treat people so poorly, they wouldn't put you on their ignore lists.
