I think we should get a Roman Empire map. With different layout with units instead of numbers.

Roman Empire sounds good, but Roman Numerals wouldn't work... You'd need army circles big enough for at least 6 digits; and that wouldn't leave much room for any map

You don't get it really.
I mean characters like Roman Legions and Cavalry instead of 1,2,3 for number of armies on a territory.

Maybe you also could add Hadrians wall and other fortresses and capitals like Rome,Carthage and Byzantium

Could you make it [url] tags instead of [img], the map is rather large

Anyway, guiscard had a rome map a bit back. Not sure what happened to it tho

And if your not planning to do it yourself, please post in the map ideas thread so you dont get our hopes up

There was a Roman Empire map in the making a while back, haven't seen it in a while. But I am not sure if using the RTW map would be a good idea for this. You may have to ask the guys that make the series about it.

I revised the map so it is more suitable for use.

It was Guiscard who had the Roman Empire map...I wrote to him asking what is the status of his map, and if he was going to continue it's development.
