As a seperate post, nor is racism stupid. I know many racists (believing in a hierachy of races). They're damn clever people. I don't like their views, but when you look at it, there's no reasonto suppose that in the course of human evolution, the black race for example developed superior cerebral capacity than the white one, which may have say ended upwith a greater propensity to grow tall (random based examples, ot implying anything). Certainly, its been proved, for example, asians have a greater capacity to music than others. Similarily, differences exist between all races- not just at the epidermal layer. So racism is wrong. But certainly not stupid.

Stupid people are stupid because they are wrong. I would contend, therefore, that your racist buddies are indeed stupid.

A racial hierarchy? Based on what characteristics? Who is at the top of this order? (lemme guess...)

Racial differences - we all know these exist. But they are so superficlal that anthropologists these days see racial differences as a cultural construct more than anything else.

As for freedom of speech, I'm all for you being allowed to rant on about how you think the Arabs are running around the Paris suburbs free from prosecution raping white girls on sight and simultaneously forcing the abortion rate up through their numerous wives... All you do is open yourself up to mockery. Which is fine. The recent Oxford Union debate which was hampered by protests against the appearance of Irving and Griffen was a great example. They should have been allowed to set out their stall and have the members of the Oxford debate team rip them to shreds for their unfounded and ridiculous views.

Never thought I'd say this but...TOLERANCE, PEOPLE.

There are plenty of intelligent 9/11 deniers. I know a top phycisist and expert mathematician who I can tell you to knock you off your high horse is far more intelligent than most and denies 9/11. Equally I know people with philosophy degrees who are racist. Doesn't mean they're rightbut they aren't just stupid.

Your very very clever friends are indeed wrong if they believe in a racial hierarchy, yes. And if you think they are right to do so, you are also wrong. And if you don't agree with them, they are surely stupid for not sharing your world-beating set of absolute moral values.

Please explain this 'hierarchy'. What set of values do you use to decide who goes where? Intelligence? Dick size? Running speed? Number of teeth?
Which race is at the top, and which at the bottom?
