Hello

Post by Cursed »

Hello I just made a account here. I have played the board game risk many times and I am pretty good at it. I am assuming the online version is much different though.

The Instructions say you have 24 hours to take your turn...

I dont know about you but i dont take that long to take my turn in the board game.

How different is this then the board game?

When you begin your turn you have an hour to take your turn, you just have 24 hours so that you don't have to sit there and wait.

Of course if you want the sitting around the table experience then play a real time game, look in the callouts section and you should find a lot of callouts for real time games.

Oh and this is almost a replica of the board game in essence, just with lots of tweaks, different rules and maps :).

the 24 hours just assures that everyone has an equal amount of time to take a turn. usually the rounds go much faster.

Just beware of freestyle games, they're VERY different from sequential. If you know the "secret" to winning them, great. Otherwise, stick to sequential if you want classic style play.
