A buddy showed me the site. Finally bought premium just over a week later, as a belated birthday gift to myself. Haven't taken a break yet. The biggest draw to staying was the tournaments, it's also why I wanted premium in the first place. Took me until November before I finally got the courage to start my own though.

I have been playing CC over 8 and a half months. I joined on April fools day, when the site was all in some weird language and I'm surprised I kept playing. A friend told me, actually it was the guy who made doodle Earth. I got about 500 games as a freemy, then for my birthday some mod bought me premium, his heart was much warmer than his metal body armor. But I want to stop playing, it takes too much of my time, but it is so addicting.

In late Jan I believe I found CC from digyourowngrave.com; a forum vet was leaving and saying he got addicted to this site so it made me curious.

I believe that I will be here until I actually get past high- school (not sure how long that will be at this rate, considering CC is my major problem :oops:

And I found this site from a friend, who used to play, but no does not, because of personal time restraints from University.
We used to play CC at lunchtime in the computer lab of our school, until one of the morons in charge decided to block the proxy address of the site, from all computers.

Now I actually chill with my friends

I've been here for 1 year 24 days. I have only deadbeated once cause I was travelling 26 hours straight through. I heard of this site on War Zone when someone came in and posted the link in the chat. So I signed up and have been addicted ever since. This site rocks and I hope its around for a long time.

I joined Jan 24,2006.I was desperate for a place to play my favorite game online,had been playing at MSN game zone since 2000 and they took it off

another site was started but it was and still is shit. I plan to stay until this place is no more,that is all.

I've been here since day two (or three). I followed a wikipedia link to this site after reading an article about Risk and liked it better than all the other sites that were linked there. Later on I figured that Lack was breaking wikipedia rules by putting that link up there, so that makes him a REBEL. Fight the power, eh?

I've been playing pretty much non-stop with my maximum of 4 (used to be 10 but then the site's population increased) games until I got invited to test out speed games by Lack and got rewarded with a month of free premium for my input. But Lack accidentally gave me a free year and when I told him about it he said I could keep it.

I've only taken a break once, and that was when my computer decided to let me access every single site o

n the internet except CC (and Qwantz, for some odd reason) and I ended up deadbeating my way out of Sgt 1st Class all the way down to my current rank.

My favorite achievement so far was playing every single map as a six-player freestyle escalating unlimited in celebration of my free premium. Perhaps sometime I'll do the same with all the new maps and 8 players, but I'm still recovering from the last time so I'm unlikely to try anything that extreme anytime soon.

My highest rank was Captain and the highest ranked player that I've played against (And beaten ) was Blitzaholic. My advice for reaching high scores? Stay away from speed games. They're addictive and fun and one of the best ways to pass the time on the internet but they suck your score like the vacuum of space on a CC-shaped spacecraft. Also, master a map that's difficult to get the hang of and stick to that. I would recommend AoM but it's becoming more common now so find your own map and make it yours.

Hmm, looking back perhaps I should have titled this "Your CC life story", but I'm too lazy to scroll up the page to change that, so there you go.

August 2006... my best ever find on the internet. It was down to pure luck of course. I'd searched online risk since I discovered the board game the previous Christmas. Having given up, I randomly found it one day in a Google Advert.

To join was the best decision I ever made, to buy premium was my second best

i found this through some mates in rl. i play risk with them in real life and he needed someone to take his turns, i did it and joined the next day, bought premium 2 days later...best 20 bucks ive ever spent i think
