***** None of that was intended to actually insult Canada whatsoever. They are an amazing country, even if only because of the invention of Hockey Night in Canada. What an amazing amazing thing. That being said, I hope they dream of John Carlson's game winning goal every night.

I have a hard time believing Ovechkin, Malkin & co don't dominate the real Olympic games. The US will need to play extremely well together to make a run for it.

1st & 2nd round are both standard - these rounds determine who makes the teams. 6 players make the team, but...
3rd & 4th round are triples - for the Olympic games and medal rounds. 3 players at a time, cycling through the 6 total.
