And that would be the best way. Look at what happens in other post when they generalize the topic. It digresses into ridiculousness. That is why I am so trying to stay on just one topic in the "An Unproven Hypothesis..." thread. Even though there are a lot of ridiculousness and anger aimed at me, but it's not my fault. It takes all kinds to make a world.

But I would agree with you. Create a specific thread and then after a long while you can see what people believe and understand through all of those threads.

Jones - I know you would violate your own thread rules if you answered your own questions, but just for the sake of completeness, how would you answer questions # 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 11?

The question is, tgd, are you going to fill in the list? Seriously though, I think that number 11 is one of the most interesting since a great deal of people believe there are aliens despite the complete and total lack of evidence of such a thing. I'm imagining it was included in the list because creationists aren't supposed to believe in aliens but I'm not really sure why anyone would.

What I wanted to test was whether jones would give a specific answer to those questions or say "I don't know." If he gave a specific answer, I would shrug and probably sigh. If he typed "I don't know" I would have clapped.

I think a strong point that needs to be made here is that most people believe evolution is fact because they heard it from a textbook, from a teacher, on the internet, etc.. All of the information regarding evolution is gathered from a handful of scientists yet it's considered so concrete by so many. Gravity, thermodynamics and such can be proven through experiments in any ordinary lab yet evolution requires great leaps of faith in the certainty of a relatively small scientific community. Why then is evolution accepted by so many so readily?

Statistically we should not be alone but we never know, anyway if we find life in 100+ planets and moons in the solar system then we are not alone. And we should explore most of these places by the end of this century tho.

The problem is that evolutionists don't believe in the theory of evolution, they know that its true, on the other hand you don't know that your theory works that's why u need to believe in it. There is a huge difference.

Evolutionist who are wast majority in the world generally don't like the word "anti-evolutionists"... But if you used Creationists or Believers then hardly which evolutionist would have wasted time in your thread.

This thread (as you'll find if you bother to read rather than just jump in) was specifically for people who have announced elsewhere that they believe evolution to be untrue to talk amonst themselves and see how well their beliefs fit together in other areas. I still think this would be a worthwhile project, but people such as yourself make it bloody impossible. I really am getting quite irritated about this.

I have stayed out of this until now, but since its abandoned.. I, too, think it is a worthy goal. However, a big problem is that there is little real unity, except that evolution is just wrong.. usually (but not always) because the bible Says it is so.
