From what I've skimmed through, TGD used that global ranking system in mathematics, science, and writing, which showed that there was marginal improvement in some areas and a lack of improvement in other areas, but then TGD concludes that the NCLB itself can't be held solely responsible for this because the sources of these problem do not just lie with this one program.PLAYER57832 wrote:presented in the other thread. Educating the masses was easier when many people were poorly educated (in general) roughly 100 years. Now, it seems that with the expansion of more and more resources into the Education Department, there has been less and less improvement. Tyler Cowen states that the lower fruit have already been picked, and now it has become significantly more difficult to make improvements in this field. He then asks the question: "Where should the future spending be allocated?" "Where are the next sources of innovation?"
