My ZOMG was because I work with Hydro generation (well anyone in the electricity industry here does since it makes 60-70% of our power). I was hoping we would be able to get all nerdy up in hurr with some turbine pron.

Im an electricity systems analyst. Often that requires financial, mathmatical, and other schools of analysis. I dont currently do a lot of financial stuff atm due to my role.

Now I need to watch a "How it's made" about it. I have always been interested in energy generation and felt that it could be used in more situations.
The closest I come to those turbines are squirrel cages, blowers.

Well, it is the owner of the companies discretion to turn down business. Also, requiring employees to go into these facilities could be considered sexual harassment.

Not in the slightest. I just don't like sexuality shoved in my face. I would prefer it if people kept themselves decently clothed. But I can't control everyone and everyone has a different comfort level. I also don't share food and will stop eating if someone touches my food. I can't stand it.

I'm no hydro engineer but I can still appreciate the badonkadonk on a well put together turbine. *puts tongue back into mouth*

The bottom one is for lower pressures I'm guessing?

You mean the cross flow? Dunno, never heard of one being used. Most common are francis and kaplan these days I think.
