So Andy,
I've been banned for less, you'd expect those who "represent" C.C. aka administrators should be held at a higher standard.
[CENSORED] was a troll and spammed numerous threads right after Flame Wars was erased. [CENSORED] attacked anyone and any idea to prevent their support for FLAME WARS from being discussed or debated. Was [CENSORED] punished or banned for flaming, baiting, trolling, or anything else with a similar ending? No. He was rewarded.
I'd like to remind you that this thread is about Flame Wars. What do we get for trying to be civil and have a real discussion on this subject? Attacked, trolled and spammed. Perhaps, now I'll be permi-banned for complimenting Prowler on his fizzle and bubbly personality. Perhaps, I'll be on permanent vacation for defending a poster who was attacked by [CENSORED]. Perhaps, I'll be discarded for some other heinous crime.
It's no wonder there's a atmosphere of unfairness going on in the forums.
Having premium members who get 30 day bans and lifetime bans is wrong, especially for the alleged crimes committed.
Andy, don't you think [if you're aloud to express an opinion] that the punishments issued are excessive, as far as the crimes are concerned? LIFETIME BANS?
There's no doubt that those who have been issued warnings, temp. bans and perma-bans love to play at C.C. and also would like to contribute their time in making C.C. a fun place to hang-out at.
Right now there seems at least to me and those who use to have fun in the Flame War Forum, that it's a US against THEM mentality. The handing out of banning punishments, like candy at Halloween is plain wrong.
C.C needs to hand out a blanket pardon for these alleged crimes to those who just plainly disappeared with-out a trace or reason. We the C.C. community needs to come together and have a REAL discussion on severity of these bans against paying members. Maybe, just maybe, we can have input from all the regular posters with-out retribution of getting punished for minor offenses. OR, maybe it's a "US against THEM" mentality that will continue on.
