i vow to not post anywhere other than flame wars and an occasional c and a if given back fw.

this is a simple request, and hope to be heard.

But we should have flamewars back. It attracted the retards in droves (thus keeping them out of the more cerebral parts of the forum) and gave people like the OP great sport making them cry. Posters like the prowler and chaosfactor are Grade A posters who are still here, still hanging around, but they were the kings of their jungle and have no place in GD. They are shadows of themselves in Off-topics as well.

But as I've said before and will keep saying till they finally ban me for it, this was all done on religious grounds. They don't think they are making the site better, they think they are making US BETTER, the sanctimonious bastards.

I think lack hired him to give him a legitimate shot at Community Manager. But since he wasn't here long, announcing the removal of flame wars was one of the very few public things he did. Lack is pretty good with being open and honest, I don't think he would try and hoodwink the community in that manner.

As for flame wars. I didn't go in there that much, probably posted in ther 5 or 10 times, but I'd rather have it then not have it. If anyone ever did flame me in there I don't know about it, nor do I care. Let them get it out. It's just fun to go in there are blow off some steam sometimes.

Didn't you guys set up an off-shore flame wars forum on another site like pileofawesome? Oh yeah I forgot it failed because no-one cared enough to post there.
