Added bonuses...moved one battle...moved text...resized text...added mini map
Any ideas for how the continents should be labeled in the mini map?

dont worry...i want to iron out some elements like the mini map and bonuses before i work on font...ZeakCytho wrote:You seem to have forgotten this?ZeakCytho wrote:I find the font on the territory names and in the legend very hard to read. Give yourself a pat on the back.
Okay, just making sure that comment hadn't fallen by the wayside.bspride wrote:dont worry...i want to iron out some elements like the mini map and bonuses before i work on font...ZeakCytho wrote:You seem to have forgotten this?ZeakCytho wrote:I find the font on the territory names and in the legend very hard to read. You might want to consider making the bonus for holding both roses +1 instead of +2. It's only two territories, and someone could easily start with both.
South England is practically impossible to hold - any chance of you splitting it into two bonuses?
i was hoping to have the roses start as neutral...and im not sold on splitting South England...with two continents there it would be too many bonuses i thinkZeakCytho wrote:Okay, just making sure that comment hadn't fallen by the wayside.bspride wrote:dont worry...i want to iron out some elements like the mini map and bonuses before i work on font...ZeakCytho wrote:You seem to have forgotten this?ZeakCytho wrote:I find the font on the territory names and in the legend very hard to read. I could not disagree with brygy more. If anything, S. England should be higher. It's a massive continent with 5 borders - no one will get it until very late in the game.bryguy wrote:also, for bonuses:
South england seems a little high. Maybe 4 or 5 instead of 6? im fine with 6 tho if you want it that
I feel you there...i can add more battles in the south...or add something there to spice it up? suggestions?MrBenn wrote:The regions need to be differentiated more on the main map, so that it is more apparent where they begin/end.
The battles don't appear to be evenly distributed - I know that is due to historical accuaracy etc, but it makes the South a bit of a wasteland...
Yes but if it is too high...It will be impossible to win if you gained it early in the game with a good dropZeakCytho wrote:I could not disagree with brygy more. If anything, S. I'm still in favor of splitting it...
The only thing i think is that if i darken the paper...I will not darken the wood background...and it could contrast to muchbryguy wrote:t-o-m wrote:(p.s you gotta wait 5 seconds for the image to change, the 1st image is the original)
sheesh dude! dont scare me like that! i kept looking at it, then looking away, glimpsing it, and doing a double take to see it back to normal! i thought my vision was goin bad or somethin!
and I actually really like the way that tom did it (the changed), although in my opinion his is to light. Also, maybe make the mini-map a tad bit smaller?
also, for bonuses:

North england seems fine![]()
Wales seems a little low for bonus. Whoever holds it has to protect 4 territories , so in my opinion 3-5 would be better.
I think midlands could use being a bonus of 6, but I dont mind if its not.
oops your right, i forgot about the ports and accidentally left a couple of territs out in my countingZeakCytho wrote:I could not disagree with brygy more. If anything, S. England should be higher.
